Introduction

The word “GAPET” is taken from Javanese language specially used in Southern Central Java. The word itself means to clamp something with two wooden or bamboo sticks or others.
Our main dishes are “Roasted Chicken and Duck”. One of the cooking process is to clamp or “GAPET” the chicken or duck before it is dipped into our special seasoning sauce, so the sauce can be absorbed into meat perfectly.
Our authentic recipe from Indonesian ancient and traditional recipes, along with the cooking technic, basic ingredients and spices to create a perfect Authentic taste of Indonesia.
We don’t use any artificial ingredients, artificial seasoning, MSG or artificial food coloring.
We only use natural and traditional seasoning such as Garlic, Shallot, Ginger, “Kencur”, Galangal, Pepper, Coriander, Lemongrass, etc.
As food coloring we use “Kunyit” for yellow, “Suji” leaf for green color, Red Chilli for red color and spicy taste.
By using authentic recipes, the best ingredients and the correct cooking method, it will produce a good quality food, healthy and authentic.
